AUTUMN FESTIVAL – Sizerville State Park’s 24th Annual Autumn Festival was held Saturday, with activities for the kids, demonstrations, and lots of great food for everyone. The day was sunny and cool, perfect for strolling through the park and enjoying the event. Several food vendors ran out of their offerings before 3:00, with the homemade soups selling especially well. Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl made their annual visit to meet the children and have their picture taken with them. Children and adults alike enjoyed the trip back in time with candle dipping, woodworking, fly tying, leaf prints, apple cidering, old time crafts, and meeting friends and neighbors.
