The former Furniture For Less building is now officially gone, following several weeks of demolition and clean-up work by Bucktail Excavators of St. Marys. The only thing left of the building is the concrete slab floor, which will be removed by the contractor in the near future, then the lot will be graded and mulched. The property went unsold in last year’s judicial tax sale. It was then purchased by the county from the county repository and is being torn down using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
