The George and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation recently donated $150,000 to cover the costs of purchasing a new ambulance for use by the Cameron County Ambulance Service (CCAS). The ambulance service currently has two ambulances, both of which are in use daily. The vehicle being replaced has been driven more than 184,000 miles while transporting patients from Cameron County to area hospitals.Taking part in the check presentation were (from left): Mee Foundation president John Rogers, presenting the check to CCAS board president Adam Johnson, Mee Foundation director Dave Guloien and CCAS business manager Bill Pennington.
