Local Shade Tree 2014 Annual Report

    Emporium Shade Tree Commission issues its 2014 Annual Report: The number of trees planted in this year 2014 was five; number of trees pruned was seven; and there were seven stumps removed. Cost of the tree planting, which included cost of trees, freight delivery, equipment for planting and labor came to $3,622.  

Volunteers’ Dinner

    All volunteers serving with the Emporium and Sinnemahoning Fire companies, Cameron County and Sinnemahoning Ambulance services, Mountaineer Search and Rescue, and Cameron County Emergency Management are invited to a free taco dinner on Saturday, Jan. 24th.
