Ambulance Board Votes To Discontinue Merger Talks
The Cameron County Ambulance Service (CCAS) recently held its annual reorganization meeting on February 1st, at which time a new board of directors and a new set of officers was elected by the corporation members present. This changeover was the most substantial change in CCAS governance in recent years. The timing of this transition overlapped with the annual CCAS subscription drive, which resulted in some processing delays; however, steps have been taken to ensure timely processing in the future.
The new board held its first meeting on March 1st, at which time the following actions were taken:
