ATV/UTV Assoc. Continues To Seek Support For Trail System

Members of the Cameron County ATV/UTV Association held an Open House on Saturday evening at the Emporium Fire Hall to hear citizens’ concerns and dispense information on the group’s ambitions within the county.
The association is led by resident Jeff Snell, current owner of the Bear Den in Sterling Run, who has been going door-to-door with other members in order to gather support for a trail that would connect the communities of Sinnemahoning, Driftwood and Emporium, and offer the hundreds of ATV-owning residents an opportunity to ride legally.
Snell stated that he has received a lot of positive feedback from people interested in what the trail could bring to the community. While riding opportunities are obvious, trail-riding opportunities could boost tourism and bring more people—and revenue—into the county.
