BBQ Contest Results
Hundreds of people flocked to downtown Emporium for this year’s All Fired Up and Kickin’ Ash BBQ Competition held this past Saturday.
Teams from across the state came to town to compete in several different categories, with winners taking home a grill-themed trophy for their efforts.
The event has grown from previous years, with more competitors and more food available this year, plus the event expanded to include pre-BBQ festivities on Friday evening. Dozens gathered Friday night for entertainment, legal beverages, and a bonfire, with the Cameron County High School (CCHS) Drama Club selling hot dogs and S’mores fixings to roast over the fire.
