Members of the Cameron County School District’s Board of Directors discussed shortfalls in the district’s cafeteria during their regular meeting held Thursday night.

The cafeteria budget will be zeroed out through the transfer of $278,227 from the unassigned balance of the general fund in order to comply with audit recommendations from David DiTanna of the Buffamante, Whipple & Buttafaro firm in charge of the district’s annual audit.
