Closing Out Camp

by William Crisp

One of the most melancholy days of the year for me is the last day of deer camp, as you have to wait 50 weeks each year for one of the most joyous days of the year; the first Monday after Thanksgiving.

You wait all year anticipating the excitement of the season. More than any other opener, there is quite a buildup including scouting, supplying and preparing a camp for rifle season.
