Cloudy Waters

Stevenson Dam is scheduled to undergo a dredging project soon. The lake has already been drained down and once again the First Fork flows freely by Brooks Run.

The plan is to attempt to remove 4’ to 6’ of silt from the upper, exposed, portion of the lake. This project has brought curious reactions from the general public. I may only be a real Fish Warden as opposed to the ones that play a Warden on T.V., but, despite that handicap, I carry with me the perspectives and opinions of local anglers expressed over the past couple of decades.
