Cameron County Commissioners discussed progress on the proposed Homeland Security program, shared information from the recent tax claim bureau upset sale and reviewed bids for a repository property and local construction project.

The Homeland Security training program, proposed for inclusion in available curriculum at the Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center (CTC), has been recognized by the state, according to Commissioner Lori Reed, who has been working with the Essential Emergency Services Training Advisory Board.
