County 4-H Air Rifle Team Prepares For 2017 Regional Event
The Cameron County 4-H Air Rifle Team continues to prepare for the Regional Air Rifle competition scheduled for April 22nd at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds. Youth from Cameron, Elk, Potter, Jefferson, and Clearfield counties compete as individuals and as teams in the event.
“There are 22 young shooters in this year’s program, practicing every week at the Emporium Moose Club,” said Don Bickford of CCOYA, one of the primary sponsors of the program. “Some of our shooters have been in the program for several years and have become very good shooters.”
