County Fair Kicks-Off Sunday

The Cameron County Fair is set to kick off on Sunday, August 7 and run through Saturday, August 13 at the Cameron County Fairgrounds just north of Emporium on Route 46.
This year’s fair theme is “We Have Good Things Growing,” and will include a number of new events including outdoor-themed activities for area youth.
Competitive exhibits will be accepted at Beaver Hall from noon until 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, with judging to commence at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Beaver Hall will not be opened to the public until Monday evening at 6 p.m., at which time visitors can view the award-winning fair entries.
