Crazy Season

by William Crisp

It is crazy season. Emotionally driven sycophants are running around blindly following leaders who will take them to their doom. These short sighted mindless hordes will literally run off a cliff or into traffic all the while still sniffing the air and cheering for their demise, fully believing they have done the right thing and their idol has done nothing wrong.

So be careful as you’re driving to your voting place because you are in danger of being intercepted by a deer engrossed in the rut.

Annually, the rut around here comes on pretty strong the week after Halloween and it then ebbs and flows through peaks and valleys into January. November, though, is the prime time and main peak of deer mating season.
