Crosby Tops Emporium In Alle-Catt Playoffs

The Emporium Alle-Catt baseball team hosted the Crosby Mud Hens in the first round of the 2016 playoffs and fell to the visitors 6-2.

In the game played at the Olivett Field the Mud Hens took a 5-0 lead and rode the right arm of starting pitcher Jory Okerlund to the victory.

Okerlund threw nine innings and allowed just two runs while scattering seven hits. He struck out six and walked two. Okerlund also had three of Crosby’s five hits, including a home run to right center field in the second inning.
