When Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, he wrote the basic principles of what we call Democracy. In the second paragraph, he wrote; All men are created equal, they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, etc., etc. The first line of the paragraph says: we hold these truths to be self-evident…
