Donations Sought For Veterans In Nursing Homes
The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Olkosky-Jessop Unit 194 is accepting donations (love offerings) for wounded and disabled veterans who reside in the home nursing care unit at James E. Van Zandt Medical Center in Altoona, PA 16603.
Acceptable donations are: canteen books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Efferdent, Polident, combs, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, after shave lotion, disposable razors, baby powder, white socks. Other items are Christmas cards, stamps, and Christmas wrap paper.
