DuBois Company Implicated In UPMC Death Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed on behalf of several patients who died following treatment at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) hospitals indicates that the mold that caused the fatalities was transmitted by improperly-dried bedsheets provided by the Paris Healthcare Linen facility, of DuBois.
According to the Pittsburgh-Tribune Review website, a report filed in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas shows that the ventilation system at Paris Healthcare Linen Services blew “heavy amounts of fungus” onto hospital linens to be used at UPMC.
