Enjoyed Phil’s ‘Dy-No-Mite’ Series

Dear Mr. Burkhouse,

Please know that I truly enjoyed your series, “Dy-No-Mite” recently published in the Echo. Mostly because my grandfather, Charlie Clark, was very involved. Not in that particular explosion, since he had long passed away, but one I believe occurred in the very late thirties or very early forties. However, I vividly remember even at that age – about 9 years old – when my mother, (Cecil Clark Krause) was advised that my Granddad was badly injured in an explosion. We lived in Michigan at the time, and I vividly remember her immediately jumping in the family car and heading out for the 10 hour trip to PA. By herself.  My dad, Robert (Bob) Krause was left to tend to the family.
