Fourth Grade Visits Sizerville Park

The fourth grade students of Woodland Elementary recently made their annual field trip to Sizerville State Park. The event was coordinated by Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities (CCOYA). After arriving at the park the students were greeted by Don Bickford of CCOYA.

After welcoming them and discussing some of the park’s history, the class enjoyed a hike up East Cowley road approximately one mile to a beaver dam. There, Bickford talked about the importance of beaver dams in our environment.
