It sure did get busy last week with four nights at sporting events at the school, but I want to start with an apology. Somehow in the communication between Coach Cooney and me, JV player Damien Erickson, who wears number 34, was omitted from my Red Raider preview. Readers of this column know that I traditionally have trouble with a Red Raider each basketball season; last year I continually messed up with Trae Smith and I guess Erickson is my first of this year. Let’s just hope I don’t cheat him out of a point like I did to Smith last season.
