From the Bleachers

This week begins one of the best months of the year for sports and that is obviously because of the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament. For the better part of the next twenty days there will be multiple college basketball games available on television just about every night beginning Tuesday.

Although I follow a lot of news and highlights during the regular season, other than Pitt and Duke, I usually don’t watch entire games. But starting with the “first four” games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from Dayton it is likely my television will be tuned to hoops only, which means I will no doubt be exiled to my “toy room.” That is not a bad thing since my son decided that I needed a new forty inch LG flat screen to replace my twenty-seven incher and made my Christmas happier. Whoever said it was better to give than to receive never had their son buy them a big screen.
