There are going to be some soccer references to begin, so those of you who despise the world’s most popular sport please bear with me.
England has had an interesting year. The first part is good. Leicester City won the English Premiere League last season, which was probably the most unexpected result in sports history, even more of an upset than when the USA defeated the Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympic hockey tournament. For a little background, the EPL is much like Major League Baseball.
