From the Bleachers

It was not a good weekend for college football, despite the good wings I had from the barbeque cookoff to enjoy while watching. A beat up Penn State team was destroyed by Michigan, who might be one of the better teams in the country this season, and Pitt gagged up a thirteen point lead in the fourth quarter lead at North Carolina and lost to the Tar Heels with two seconds left. At least Duke knocked off Notre Dame and Slippery Rock dominated Gannon to remain unbeaten heading to their showdown at Cal U on Saturday.

The Raiders lost a tough game Friday in which they rediscovered their offense and played some pretty good defense for most of the game. It helps that they are back playing teams in Class A again but now that they have picked up some confidence, they just need to learn how to get over the hump to pick up a win. Friday night at the homecoming game seems like a great time to get that done.
