Congratulations to an old friend, former Ridgway and Cameron County football coach, Mark Morelli, who has been named the new head coach at Warren High School. Morelli has been as assistant coach at several local schools since his stint with the Red Raiders.
With President Donald Trump instituting his new immigration rules by executive order, I wonder how it will affect our professional sports leagues, especially Major League Baseball. There are a large number of Latin American players in professional baseball, some of whom are from Cuba. Most of those are defectors and it is unclear how those players would fit the President’s proposed policies.
