Sometimes football teams really struggle, but seldom have I seen a whole officiating crew have as bad a night as they did in the game between CCHS and Port Allegany. There were not any really bad calls or anything but for some reason the guys just couldn’t get synchronized with the chain gang. On one particular series Port Allegany got eight yards on a second and ten situation and was given a first down. On another Gator drive both the referee and down marker guy got confused and gave the Gators five downs in a series.
