If you have read this column before, this will come as no surprise, but I am a baseball junkie. The sport is every bit as addicting to me as drugs or alcohol are to some people. From April to October my life is run by televised baseball games, local live baseball games, fantasy baseball, internet searches for statistics and trade rumors, and constant viewing of MLB Network and ESPN highlight shows. I’m not sure how many hours someone has to spend in pursuit of an activity to be considered addicted, but I am sure I exceed that time limit no matter what it is.
