Historical Society To Honor Local Veterans At Annual Dinner
The Cameron County Historical Society will be holding its annual Fall Dinner on Thursday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the VFW.
In honor of Veterans Day some of our local genealogists and history buffs have come together to pay tribute to our local military heroes of the past.
Some will feature their family members who once served in the military, in addition to a few forgotten heroes who are buried in a few of our more remote cemeteries. The hope is that the evening will encourage you to visit their grave sites to pay tribute this upcoming Veterans Day.
