Homan, Aversa Sworn In As New School Board Members
Two board members were appointed to serve on the Cameron County School District (CCSD) Board of Directors following an election that saw only two candidates for four open seats in this year’s municipal general election.
Of the four seats up for election, two were filled by Kristine Umble, who has served on the board for several terms, and Daryl Richardson, who was a part of the board several years ago. Both were sworn-in by Magisterial District Judge Barry Brown at the start of the meeting so that they were able to cast votes for the appointment of two additional members.
