Cameron County’s most anticipated business will open its doors to host a photography exhibit featuring the work of a well-known Emporium resident.

A photography exhibit will be hosted at the Hygrade Inn featuring photographs taken by George Kempher, a late Emporium resident known for his photos that showed life and landscapes in and around Emporium and Cameron County.

The Hygrade Inn, slated to open late next year, is the topic of much conversation and speculation in the Emporium area as residents watch the transformation of a former adult care facility into a main street bed and breakfast that blends historical touches with modern amenities.

Residents were treated to a sneak-peek of the interior prior to the beginning of renovations last year, and since then, the new business has been the topic of much discussion and speculation amongst the Cameron County populace.

Wish I could be there to see it. Didn’t George live on 6th street.
