June Classes Planned at Artisan Center

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center is hosting a variety of classes for adults and children.  Repurposing furniture and pottery classes are limited to 10 students each.

June 7 will feature Sally Azzato teaching painting techniques on furniture you own.  Students are encouraged to bring small pieces to transform.  Students will receive an 8 ounce jar of paint, brush and sanding sponge.  The class will run 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is $30.  Registration for this class closes May 27.

Artist Jacqueline Coble from DuBois will teach slab pottery construction.  That form of construction relies on a uniform piece of clay that can be cut or molded into shapes.
