Lady Raider Volleyball Team Picks Up First Win

The Cameron County High School Lady Red Raider volleyball team had three matches last week and went 1-2 for the week. On Monday they won their first match of the season at Northern Potter but dropped a home match to Galeton on Tuesday and a contest in Austin on Thursday.
At Ulysses the Lady Raiders captured a 20-25, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-16 four set win over the Northern Potter Lady Panthers for their first win of the 2017 season.
Kaitlyn Burgett paced CCHS with seven aces and seven digs while Amily Schatz contributed seven kills and Ashlea Burgett had five assists. On Tuesday the Galeton Lady Tigers defeated CCHS in Emporium in straight sets, 25-13, 25-22, and 25-16.
