Lady Raiders Have Perfect Week

The Cameron County High School Lady Red Raider varsity softball team had three league road games last week and improved their position for the upcoming District 9 playoffs with wins in all three contests.
They topped Northern Potter on Monday, Oswayo Valley on Thursday and Galeton on Friday.
At Northern Potter, low temperatures and high winds kept the offenses in check but the Lady Red Raiders scored an 8-3 win over the Lady Panthers.
Laila Smith was the winning pitcher, allowing six hits while striking out six and walking two in the complete game victory. Jenna Hyde suffered the loss for Northern Potter surrendering six hits and striking out two and walking eight.
