Local VFW Celebrates 70 Years
Members of VFW Post #6221 are preparing to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the founding of the club in Emporium.
An open house has been planned, to be held at the club on Sunday, March 6 from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
Post members are requesting participation from the community to gather artifacts and information that can be used in displays during the event.
