During Thursday night’s meeting, members of the Cameron County School District (CCSD) Board of Directors voted unanimously to accept a bid for demolition of a building adjacent to the high school pending the results of a recently completed asbestos study.

A home located at 427 Woodland Avenue that has been owned by the school district for several years will be demolished by Bucktail Excavators of St. Marys after the company submitted the lowest bid for the work.
