Cameron County Commissioners have been dealing with several issues involving real estate in recent weeks.

Several meetings have been held with a prospective buyer concerning an Emporium building currently owned by the county, while work is readying to begin on the former Furniture for Less building in Prospect Park.

Commissioners were also involved in two tax appeal hearings and strategy meetings for the upcoming judicial tax sale.

The county is working to resolve issues with the new phone system that is already in use. Individuals calling from certain carriers are having problems reaching direct dial extensions.
