Commissioners Looking Into Deteriorating Local Properties

Cameron County Commissioners are reviewing several former residences in the Borough of Emporium that they have heard concerns over from residents regarding their deteriorating conditions.
Three residential structures are being looked at for possible future demolition, following complaints from neighboring property owners that the buildings are falling down and becoming hazardous.
