County Still Holds Top Spot For Unemployment Rate
The newest unemployment numbers have been released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and indicate that the employment picture in north central Pennsylvania and the rest of the nation continues to improve, albeit more slowly than in previous months.
Across the United States, the unemployment rate remained stagnant between February and March at 6.7%, with a workforce of approximately 10.5 million. About 192,000 non-farm payroll jobs were added in March.
