Dangerous Conditions Close Portion Of Spring St.

Members of the Emporium Borough Council met last Monday to discuss a road closure due to deterioration on the East End.
Spring Street is closed from the top of the hill to Route 120/East Allegany Avenue because the roadway is separating in the center and breaking apart along one edge.
Council members were alerted to deteriorating conditions several months ago and contacted engineers to try and find a solution to the problem, but over the spring and early summer months, the road has gotten much worse quite quickly.
