Gas Activity Ramping Up In Cameron County

Residents are beginning to see signs of a resurgence of the gas and oil industry in north central Pennsylvania, with a number of projects beginning in Cameron County with the advent of spring.
Commissioners have received notice of several pipeline projects. Most of these involve the construction or upgrades of short sections that will tie in with existing gas transmission lines to carry Cameron County-produced gas from the Marcellus Shale formation to processing facilities.
