Local Blood Drive Exceeds Goal With 64 Donations
The American Red Cross Blood Drive was held at the Emporium VFW Club Rooms on Thursday, June 12th, with 64 productive donations. Sixty-two donors were presented and there were four deferrals. The goal for the day was 56 pints, so everyone involved was extremely pleased to go over the quota. Sincere thanks to all those who made a special effort to donate and making this day so successful. A special thank you to Jennie for all the wonderful baked goods everyone enjoyed all day.
