No Charges Filed In Borough Theft Case

The Attorney General’s Office has declined to press charges in a case involving a theft of money from the evidence locker at the Emporium Borough Police Station.
The theft was reported in October of last year, and was immediately referred to Emporium-based Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for further investigation, according to Borough Manager Don Reed.
