Cameron County School District Superintendent Christine Holjencin discussed a letter written to district parents concerning the cancellation of schools for inclement weather during Thursday night’s meeting of the district’s board of directors.

Within the letter, signed by Holjencin, it is stated that the decision to call a snow day is a difficult decision due to the varying weather conditions across the 400 square miles included within the district.
