STEM Presentation Given at Rotary
Members of the Emporium Rotary Club heard a presentation from employees with the Austin Area School District concerning new STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) curriculum and initiatives being implemented.
Superintendent Jerry Sasala, who taught at Cameron County for more than 30 years before taking an administrative position in Austin, discussed many of the new programs being introduced.
