Taxpayers Question Need For Additional School Principal

Members of the Cameron County School District Board of Directors heard concerns from several parents, discussed and made changes to a number of policies and voted to approve the sale of three properties currently held in the county repository at their regular meeting held Thursday evening.

The meeting did not begin until nearly 7:30 due to a pre-meeting executive session running past the scheduled regular meeting time of 7 p.m. Member Jan Hampton was not present at the meeting, which lasted until nearly 10 p.m.
