Weekend Drowning On Driftwood Branch
A man visiting from out of state drowned this weekend after falling into the swollen Driftwood Branch following several days of rain storms and spring runoff.
On Saturday morning, Michael Shawn Tarbet, age 53, of Canfield Street in Alliance, Ohio, fell into the icy, fast-moving water while walking across a railroad bridge and was quickly swept downstream.
