Man Arrested For Encouraging Boy To Shoot Himself
An Emporium man has been charged with a number of offenses related to endangering a minor after offering a child a handgun and encouraging him to shoot himself.
David John Akins, Jr., age 25, of West Sixth Street in the Emporium Borough, has been charged with misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct following an incident that is alleged to have occurred on September 25.
