An Emporium man who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography last fall was sentenced to serve five years on probation on Tuesday at the Cameron County Courthouse.

Jon Raymond Serianni, age 42, of Mountain View Road in Sylvan Heights just outside the borough of Emporium, will serve five years on County Intermediate Punishment (CIP), a more stringent version of probation, during which time he will need to anchor down and keep himself out of trouble or any other illegal activities.

According to statements made during Tuesday’s proceedings, a plea arrangement made by Serianni’s attorney, David Joel Schrager of Pittsburgh, and former District Attorney Paul Malizia led Serianni to enter an open plea to the six felony counts, with the “recommendation” being that Serianni not receive any jail time for his offenses.

Whilst being on probation normal restrictions will apply for Serianni which includes not being able to view any type of pornography, this doesn’t just include child pornography it also includes adult pornography which most of you will know from websites like https://www.porn7.xxx/ and other popular free ones.
