Raider Football Opens In Curwensville Friday Night

The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity football team begins the season on Friday night when they travel to Curwensville to take on the Golden Tide in an Allegheny Mountain League crossover game with the traditional south division powerhouse.

The Raiders, under new head coach Scott Burnside, will sport a roster of thirty-two players including seven seniors, thirteen juniors, six sophomores and six freshmen.

The senior class will be led by returning letter winners Tristan Reed (5’11”, 179 running back), Derek Rieder (6’2”, 234 tight end), Wyatt Geist (5’11, 295 guard) and Brady Thompson (6’, 276 guard).
