Raider Track Teams Unable To Grab Wins

The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity track and field team had two home meets last week and neither the boys nor girls were able to grab a win. On Monday they were defeated by Johnsonburg and on Tuesday they lost to Port Allegany.

Kamme Guisto picked up three wins and Amily Schatz won the shot put, but those were the only wins for CCHS against Johnsonburg.
Guisto won the 300m hurdles in 53.8 seconds, the high jump at 4’9” and the triple jump at 32’. She also picked up a third place in the long jump.
Schatz threw the shot put 31’8”, taking first place and qualifying for the District 9 Class AA championships. Schatz took second place in the discus. Taking third place was Alayna Genevro in the 200m and Cassie Frey in the 800m, long jump, high jump and javelin.
